The study shows the effect of protectants in the freeze-drying of Mycoplasma gallisepticum and M. synoviae, and the effect of the cultivation period required to prepare the bacterial suspension, on the survival of M. gallisepticum.Sucrose as a protectant is more effective in both Mycoplasmas.
